Test method whereby a subject adjusts a set of stimuli until the elements of the set appear to be equidistant along some dimension.

Annotation         A special case of the method of equal sense distances is the method of bisection; here the subject adjusts a stimulus until that stimulus appears midway between two reference stimuli.
