Underwater Noise Measurements of Ships

Scope: Develop and maintain standards for the measurement of normalized underwater noise levels of ships (i.e. source levels) using commercial technology that can be implemented at any ocean site and does not require special acoustic underwater range.  The scope does not include development of underwater noise limits.
