Guidelines for the Specification of Noise Emission of Machinery

Scope: Develop and maintain standards and guidelines for obtaining acoustic noise data from manufacturers to allow the user to make informed purchase or selection decisions. This includes the definition of metrics, measurement techniques, process flow and data reporting guidelines. Methods build upon and refer to underlying basic standards and existing industry-specific test codes.
