ANSI S2WG8
Analysis Methods of Structural Dynamics
Chair: M. Mezache
Scope: Development and maintenance of standards, including standardized terminology and measurement procedures, related to analysis methods used in the evaluation of the dynamic (time-varying) response of complex structural systems. These methods of analysis include but are not limited to Mechanical Mobility, Modal Analysis, Structural Intensity, Wavenumber Analysis (Spatial Array Processing), and Structural Damping. Responsible for the following published standards:
- ANSI/ASA S2.31 – Method for the Experimental Determination of Mechanical Mobility, Part I: Basic Definitions and Transducers
- ANSI/ASA S2.32 – Methods for the Experimental Determination of Mechanical Mobility, Part II: Measurements Using Single-Point Translational Excitation
- ANSI/ASA S2.34 – Guide to the Experimental Determination of Rotational Mobility Properties and the Complete Mobility Matrix
