Working Group on Measurement of Speech Levels

Chair: ASA Standards

Scope: Develop and maintain standards related to audiometric equipment (Audiometers, Aural Acoustic Impedance/Admittance Measurement) to ensure that hearing tests performed on an individual with different instruments yield equivalent results when used under comparable test conditions. Communication and liaison with related ANSI WGs. Liaison with the corresponding IEC and ISO standards groups. Coordination of the US vote on related or parallel international standards. Follow and report on current research and industry developments related to these standards.
