Scope: Develop and maintain standards and recommended procedures and instrumentation for the measurement of ground impedance in the context of characterizing the attenuation of sound propagating close to the ground. Procedures are intended to cover a wide variety of natural ground surfaces outdoors. Maintain communication and liaison with related ANSI WGs, relevant US regulatory agencies and relevant IEC or ISO standards committees.
