Working Group on Shaft Alignment Methodology

Scope: Develop and maintain a series of standards to define the methodology and criteria for effective rotating machinery shaft alignment measurement, analysis, correction and documentation. Maintain communication and liaison with related ANSI WGs, relevant US regulatory agencies and relevant ISO standards groups.

• ASA/ANSI S2.75, Part 1 – Shaft Alignment Methodology, Part 1: General Principles, Methods, Practices, and Tolerances
• ASA/ANSI S2.75, Part 2 – Shaft Alignment Methodology, Part 2: Vocabulary

• ASA/ANSI S2.75, Part 3 – Shaft Alignment Methodology, Part 3: Machines with Vertically Oriented Shafts
