Scope: Development and maintenance of standards in the field of use and calibration of mechanical vibration and shock measuring instruments. Liaison with the corresponding ISO standards groups. Coordination of the US vote on related or parallel international standards.

• ANSI/ASA S2.46 – Characteristics to be Specified for Seismic Transducers
• ANSI/ASA S2.61 – Guide to the Mechanical Mounting of Accelerometers
