Working Group on Measurement of the Noise Attenuation of Active and/or Passive Level Dependent Hearing Protective Devices
Chair: ASA Standards
Scope: Measuring the noise attenuation of active and/or passive level dependent hearing protective devices (HPDs) for the purpose of determining their protection performance. This would include either passive or active sound talk-through paths to bypass the device’s attenuation in a sound level dependent fashion.
