Working Group on Attenuation of Sound in the Atmosphere

Chair: ASA Standards

Scope: Develop and maintain standards and recommended procedures to account for the attenuation of sounds propagating through the atmosphere. Communication and liaison with related ANSI WGs and other US regulatory agencies. Liaison with corresponding IEC and ISO standards groups. Coordination of the US vote on related or parallel international standards.
