Working Group on Weighting Networks and Band Pass Filter Sets

Chair: Christopher Struck

Scope: Develop and maintain standards for the specification and performance characteristics of fractional octave bandpass filters and the design target specifications of weighting networks for acoustical measurements. Liaison with the corresponding IEC and ISO standards groups. Coordination of the US vote on related or parallel international standards.

• ASA/ANSI S1.11, Part 1 (IEC 61260-1) – Octave Band and Fractional Octave Band Filters – Part 1: Specifications
• ASA/ANSI S1.11, Part 2 (IEC 61260-2) – Octave Band and Fractional Octave Band Filters – Part 2: Pattern-evaluation Tests
• ASA/ANSI S1.11, Part 3 (IEC 61260-3) – Octave Band and Fractional Octave Band Filters – Part 3: Periodic Tests
• ASA/ANSI S1.42 – Design Response of Weighting Networks for Acoustical Measurements
