Scope: (parallel to ISO/TC 43/ SC1/WG23) – Development of procedures for measurement and evaluation of noise emitted from Information Technology and Telecommunications Equipment and their component noise sources.
Responsible for the following published standards:
- ASA/ANSI S12.10/Part 1: Acoustics – Measurement of Airborne Noise Emitted by Information Technology and Telecommunications Equipment – Part 1: Determination of Sound Power Level and Emission Sound Pressure Level
- ASA/ANSI S12.10/Part 2: Measurement of Airborne Noise Emitted by Information Technology and Telecommunications Equipment – Part 2: Declaration of Noise Emission Levels
- ASA/ANSI S12.11/Part 1/ ISO 10302-1: Acoustics – Measurement of airborne noise emitted and structure-borne vibration induced by small air-moving devices – Part 1: Airborne noise measurement
