Working Group on Determination of Sound Power
Scope: To develop, review, maintain, revise, and monitor all new and existing S12 standards that determine sound power based on sound pressure or sound intensity, or that use sound power to determine sound immission; to review sound power test codes submitted to S12 under the canvass method; to review and coordinate and liaison with other S12 Working Groups that deal with sound power; to review documents dealing with sound power submitted to ANSI under the public review process. To accomplish this, the Working Group may form task groups to handle one or more assignment tasks.
