perceived sound quality

Annotation         Sound quality is that attribute of an auditory image for which the listener can express satisfaction or dissatisfaction with that image. Impression of sound quality depends primarily on timbre (see C11.09) and the spatial character of sound but it also depends on the cultural, psychological, and physiological characteristics of the listener.
