Working Group on Underwater Noise Measurements of Ships
Chair: ASA Standards
Scope: Development a standard for the measurement of normalized underwater noise levels of ships (i.e. source levels) using commercial technology that can be implemented at any ocean site (i.e. does not require special acoustic underwater range). The scope will not include development of any underwater noise limits.
