It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we share with you the death of our colleague and friend, Logan Mullinix, who unexpectedly passed away on March 5, 2024, after a medical emergency.

As many of you know, Logan dedicated nearly two decades as a volunteer with the Acoustical Society of America’s Standards program, sharing his experience and knowledge in developing voluntary, consensus-driven National and International Standards – supporting innovation and solutions to global challenges.

Logan was a distinguished leader and dedicated contributor; most notably serving as the Chair of US TAG to ISO TC 108/SC 4, Human Exposure to Mechanical Vibration and Shock – as well as served on numerous working groups in developing standards both nationally and internationally.

We will all miss Logan’s wisdom, expertise, and friendship more than words can express.
